We are so excited to share Kristie and Justin’s engagement shoot with you! We just love how their colorful outfits compliment the beautiful fields of Southern California. It was so sweet capturing these two together and seeing how much they truly love one another! We can’t wait to photograph the beginning of your journey as husband and wife this September at the Pala Mesa Resort!
Fun fact: Kristie is the sister of one of our 2012 grooms, so it was a special treat for us to see each other again!

It’s always extra exciting to get an inquiry from a couple that has chosen The Villa as their wedding venue, the location my wife and I were married at. There’s a special connection that we both share. We can help reassure them of any worries, speak from personal experiences, and give them helpful planning tips that we found useful. They have definitely chosen the perfect backdrop to their special day!
After getting to know Kim and Steve, I knew we would have fun at their engagement session. They quickly warmed up to the camera; laughing, joking, and smiles from ear to ear. The two of them are so in love and it was such an honor to photograph them. We look forward to photographing their big day, which will be here before we know it!

When Christine and I got married we were asked to visit Iva Lee’s in San Clemente to choose our food options. The food was absolutely delicious, and with so many great dishes, it was definitely hard to decide. If you are looking for out of this world food and catering for your wedding, this is definitely the place to go! Following our tasting, we went next door to visit their showroom that included various rentals and decor. With the help of Lisa Wagoner, we were able to envision our wedding tables and came up with some pretty fantastic ideas.
We had such a great experience with Iva Lee’s that we wanted to ask them to somehow be a part of our styled wedding shoot at the Villa. The timing couldn’t have been any better. They happened to have an open wall space to display some of my work. Once our styled shoot was finished, I had some canvases made, and are now hanging in the Iva Lee’s showroom. I cannot thank Lisa and the Iva Lee’s staff enough for their support! If you are ever in San Clemente, stop by Iva Lee’s—your tummies won’t regret it!

We had the incredible opportunity to coordinate and photograph a styled wedding shoot at one of our favorite venues in South Orange County—The Villa, San Juan Capistrano. This was especially exciting since my wife and I were married here just 5 months ago! We absolutely fell in love with the setting and knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our winter shoot.
Our overall style and theme incorporated a few 2013 wedding trends that will be popping up this year: Brass details with golden highlights, patterns, and mint color and flavors. A few of our favorite details included a patterned table runner, vintage jewelry, place settings, printed materials, and a mint buttercream wedding cake, that was not only beautiful–but delicious!
The theme: “Let’s Fly Away” was accented with gold feathers and birds. Our team of wedding professionals really came together and created an exciting and inspirational shoot we are extremely proud of. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!
